BNV : তাই বাবিল-রাজ নবূখদ্নিত্‌সর, তাঁর সমস্ত সেনাবাহিনী নিয়ে জেরুশালেমের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে এলেন| সিদিকিয়র রাজত্ব কালের নবম বছরের 10 মাসের 10 দিনে এই ঘটনা ঘটেছিল| জেরুশালেম শহরে যাতাযাত বন্ধ করতে নবূখদ্নিত্‌সর শহরের চারপাশে তাঁর সেনাবাহিনী মোতাযেন করে একটা দেওয়াল বানিয়ে শহরটা অবরোধ করেছিলেন|
KJV : And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, [that] Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth of the month, come hath Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, he and all his force, against Jerusalem, and encampeth against it, and buildeth against it a fortification round about.

ERVEN : So King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and all his army came to fight against Jerusalem. This happened on the 10 day of the tenth month of Zedekiah's ninth year as king. Nebuchadnezzar put his army around Jerusalem to stop people from going in and out of the city. Then he built a wall of dirt around the city.

BNV : এদিকে শহরের ভেতরে খাদ্যাভাব উত্তরোত্তর বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছিল| চতুর্থ মাসের 9তম দিনের পর থেকে শহরে সাধারণ মানুষের খাবার মত এককণা খাবারও আর অবশিষ্ট ছিল না|
KJV : And on the ninth [day] of the [fourth] month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.

BNV : শেষ পর্য়ন্ত নবূখদ্নিত্‌সরের সেনাবাহিনী শহরের প্রাচীর ভেঙে ভেতরে ঢুকে পড়লে, সে রাতেই বাগানের গুপ্তপথের ফাঁপা দেওয়ালের মধ্যে দিয়ে রাজা সিদিকিয় ও তাঁর সেনাবাহিনীর লোকরা পালিয়ে যায়| যদিও শএুপক্ষের সেনাবাহিনী সারা শহর ঘিরে রেখেছিল, কিন্তু তবুও সিদিকিয় ও তাঁর পার্শ্বচররা মরুভূমির পথে পালিয়ে য়েতে সক্ষম হন|
KJV : And the city was broken up, and all the men of war [fled] by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which [is] by the king’s garden: (now the Chaldees [were] against the city round about:) and [the king] went the way toward the plain.

ERVEN : Nebuchadnezzar's army finally broke through the city wall. That night King Zedekiah and all his soldiers ran away. They used the secret gate that went through the double walls. It was by the king's garden. The enemy soldiers were all around the city, but Zedekiah and his men escaped on the road to the desert.

BNV : নবূখদ্নিত্‌সরের বাবিল শাসনের উনিশ বছরের পঞ্চম মাসের 7তম দিনে নবূষরদন জেরুশালেমে আসেন| নবূষরদন ছিলেন তাঁর সর্বাপেক্ষা রণকুশলী সৈন্যদের সেনাপতি|
KJV : And in the fifth month, on the seventh [day] of the month, which [is] the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzar-adan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:

ERVEN : Nebuchadnezzar came to Jerusalem on the 7 day of the fifth month of his nineteenth year as king of Babylon. The captain of Nebuchadnezzar's best soldiers was Nebuzaradan.

ERVEN : Nebuzaradan burned the Lord's Temple, the king's palace, and all the houses in Jerusalem. He destroyed even the largest houses.

BNV : এরপর, নবূখদ্নিত্‌সরের সৈন্যবাহিনীর সেনারা জেরুশালেমের চারপাশের প্রাচীর ভেঙ্গে ফেলে
KJV : And all the army of the Chaldees, that [were with] the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.

BNV : অবশিষ্ট য়ে কজন লোক তখন পড়ে ছিল তাদের বন্দী করে নিয়ে যায়| এমনকি য়ে সমস্ত লোক আত্মসমর্পণ করতে চেয়েছিল তাদেরও রেহাই দেওয়া হয় নি|
KJV : Now the rest of the people [that were] left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carry away.
YLT : And the rest of the people, those left in the city, and those falling who have fallen to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude, hath Nebuzaradan chief of the executioners removed;

ERVEN : Nebuzaradan captured all the people who were still left in the city. He took all the people as prisoners, even those who had tried to surrender.

BNV : নবূষরদন একমাত্র দীনদরিদ্র লোকদের দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেত ও শস্য ক্ষেতের দেখাশোনা করার জন্য ফেলে রেখে গিয়েছিলেন|
KJV : But the captain of the guard left of the poor of the land [to be] vinedressers and husbandmen.

BNV : বাবিলীয সেনাবাহিনী প্রভুর মন্দিরের পিতলের সমস্ত জিনিসপত্র ভেঙে টুকরো টুকরো করে| পিতলের জলাশয, সেই ঠেলাগাড়িটা কিছুই তারা ভাঙতে বাকি রাখেনি| তারপর সেই পিতলের ভাঙা টুকরোগুলো তারা বাবিলে নিয়ে যায়|
KJV : And the pillars of brass that [were] in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that [was] in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldees break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.
YLT : And the pillars of brass that [are] in the house of Jehovah, and the bases, and the sea of brass, that [is] in the house of Jehovah, have the Chaldeans broken in pieces, and bear away their brass to Babylon.

ERVEN : The Babylonian soldiers broke into pieces all the bronze things in the Lord's Temple. They broke the bronze columns, the bronze carts, and the large bronze tank. Then they took all of that bronze to Babylon.

KJV : And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

BNV : সোনা ও রূপোর সমস্ত জিনিসপত্রই নবূষরদন সঙ্গে করে নিয়ে যান|
KJV : And the firepans, and the bowls, [and] such things as [were] of gold, [in] gold, and of silver, [in] silver, the captain of the guard took away.
YLT : and the fire-pans, and the bowls that [are] wholly of silver, hath the chief of the executioners taken.

ERVEN : So Nebuzaradan took the large bronze tank and the 2 bronze columns. (Each column was about 31 feet tall. The capitals on the columns were over 5 feet tall. They were made from bronze and had a design like a net and pomegranates. Both columns had the same kind of design.) He also took the carts that Solomon made for the Lord's Temple. The bronze from these things was too heavy to be weighed.

KJV : The height of the one pillar [was] eighteen cubits, and the chapiter upon it [was] brass: and the height of the chapiter three cubits; and the wreathen work, and pomegranates upon the chapiter round about, all of brass: and like unto these had the second pillar with wreathen work.

BNV : আর শহর থেকে তিনি1জন সেনাসচিব, রাজার 5 জন পরামর্শদাতা, সেনাপ্রধানের ব্যক্তিসচিব যিনি লোকদের মধ্যে থেকে বাছাই করে সেনা নিযোগ করতেন, এরা ছাড়াও 60 জন সাধারণ মানুষকে বন্দী করেন|
KJV : And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of them that were in the king’s presence, which were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land [that were] found in the city:

ERVEN : From the city Nebuzaradan took one official who was in charge of the army and five of the king's advisors who were still in the city. He took one secretary of the commander of the army who was in charge of counting the common people and choosing some of them to be soldiers and 60 people who just happened to be in the city.

ERVEN : The army captains were Ishmael son of Nethaniah, Johanan son of Kareah, Seraiah son of Tanhumeth from Netophah, and Jaazaniah son of the Maachathite. These army captains and their men heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, so they went to Mizpah to meet with him.

ERVEN : Ishmael son of Nethaniah son of Elishama was from the king's family. In the seventh month Ishmael and ten of his men attacked Gedaliah and killed all the men of Judah and Babylonians who were with Gedaliah at Mizpah.
